How to use a one-page day
- Fill the top three first: the things that would make the day a success even if nothing else got done.
- Block them into the schedule before meetings and errands take the space.
- Everything else goes on the checklist. Anything unticked at the end of the day moves to tomorrow’s sheet or gets dropped.
Planning a whole week at once is easier on the weekly planner, and the blank calendar gives you the month view.
Questions people ask
What is on the daily planner page?
An hourly schedule from 6 am to 9 pm with half-hour guide lines, a "top three" box for the day’s must-dos, a ten-item to-do checklist and space for notes.
Can I print it undated?
Yes. Tick "Blank (undated)" and print as many copies as you like; there is a line at the top to write the date.
Will holidays show up?
Yes. If the day is a US federal holiday or a UK bank holiday (depending on your choice) its name appears under the date, along with any dates you have saved.
